About me

I’m a pastor and higher education professional based in Philly, with rich experience in church planting, church networks, & Christian higher education.

I’m lead pastor of City Line Church.

City Line Church is a diverse community….

drawing from a wide range of vocations, ethnicities,  life stages, and religious backgrounds.  We work in schools, hospitals, stores, offices and in the home.  We are from the Philadelphia area, and we are from other parts of the country, and even the world.  We are singles, couples, young families, and grandparents.  Some of us are deeply invested in the life of the church.  And some of us get involved as much as we can, or simply come to check things out. However we might come, we are all welcomed – free to question, free to watch, free to care and to be cared for.  And all along the way, the hope that draws us all together is that we might understand and experience more fully God’s love and goodness in Jesus Christ… for us, our city, and our world.

I also had a previous life as a executive higher education marketing and enrollment management professional with marketing, admissions, and recruiting experience. Marketing Specialties Include: Web Analytics, SEM, SEO, Social Media, Higher Education Marketing, Email Marketing, Branding and Identity.

2020-2023

Renewal Presbyterian Church

EXECUTIVE PASTOR

I helped organize staff and volunteers at the church, planned worship services, worked with elders and deacons, shepherd, and occasionally preached at both Renewal campuses.

2017-2020

Missio Seminary

DIRECTOR then VP of ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT & MARKETING

I led the charge for enrollment and marketing at Missio. I made sure we were enrolling students that would succeed in the missional imperative to follow Jesus into the world. I also played a key roll helping move the seminary from Hatfield to Philadelphia.

2015-2017

Liberti Church Northwest

CHURCH PLANTER & PASTOR

I served as the church planter and pastor of Liberti Church Northwest which is located in the Mt. Airy/Germantown neighborhoods of Philadelphia. We seek to live, speak and serve as the very presence of Jesus in these neighborhoods that we love so dearly. 

2012-2014

Liberti Church Riverwards

DIRECTOR OF MERCY & COMMUNITY MINISTRY

My job was to gather, teach, and shepherd the flock of Liberti Church Riverwards as a key staff person, with a particular charge of leading the church in mercy and neighborhood outreach ministries. 

2009-2012

Eastern University

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Served as the leader of internet marketing at Eastern University. Responsibilities included SEM, SEO, display advertising, email, etc. I also did other forms of outbound marketing, managed the budget and did marketing research and competitive analysis.
