Type Markdown and Scriptio styles it as you go, with the symbols faded into the background. A clean serif page, light and dark mode and a formatting bar above the iPhone keyboard keep things calm. Focus Mode hides everything but your words, typewriter scrolling keeps the line you're writing in the middle of the screen, and optional typewriter sounds come from a real typewriter.

Give each book its own project and each chapter its own document, then drag them into order. Mark chapters as Idea, Draft, Revised or Final, add a cover, and set a word goal and a deadline.
