SermonSteward respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how SermonSteward handles information when you use the SermonSteward app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Information We Collect
SermonSteward is designed to keep your sermon preparation private. We do not sell your personal information, track you across apps or websites, or use your data for advertising.
The app may store the content you create, including sermons, notes, sermon templates, tags, series information, illustrations, quotes, and preaching history. This content is stored on your device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, may be synced through Apple’s iCloud services using your Apple Account.
iCloud Sync
If you use iCloud sync, your SermonSteward data may be stored in your private iCloud account so it can sync across your devices. Apple handles iCloud storage and account security according to Apple’s own privacy policies. SermonSteward does not operate a separate server for storing your sermon library.
Purchases and Subscriptions
SermonSteward may offer paid features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. SermonSteward does not collect or store your credit card number, banking information, or App Store payment details.
The app may receive purchase status information from Apple so it can unlock paid features, restore purchases, and confirm subscription access.
Scripture Lookup
When you use Scripture lookup or related online features, the app may send the requested Bible reference or translation request to a Bible passage service in order to return the requested Scripture text. SermonSteward does not use these requests for advertising or tracking.
Backups and Files
SermonSteward may allow you to export or import backup files. Backup files are created only when you choose to export them. You are responsible for where you save or share those files.
Information You Provide for Support
If you contact us for support, we may receive your name, email address, and any information you choose to include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request and provide support.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your sermon content with advertisers or data brokers.
Data may be handled by Apple when you use iCloud, App Store purchases, TestFlight, crash reporting, or other Apple platform services. Those services are governed by Apple’s policies.
Data Retention
Your sermon data remains on your device or in your iCloud account unless you delete it, uninstall the app, remove it from iCloud, or delete exported backup files. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to requests and maintain business records.
Children’s Privacy
SermonSteward is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
You can:
Delete sermons, templates, tags, and other content in the app.
Disable iCloud sync in your device settings.
Delete exported backup files wherever you saved them.
Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account.
Contact us to request deletion of support communications you sent to us.
Security
We use Apple platform tools such as app sandboxing, iCloud, and StoreKit to help protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but SermonSteward is designed to avoid unnecessary collection of personal information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
