Vantage: Privacy Policy

Vantage: Health Trends ("Vantage") is made by Ryan Egli. This policy explains what Vantage does with your information. In short: your health data stays on your device. Vantage does not collect, transmit, sell or share it.

Health data

With your permission, Vantage reads data from Apple Health: activity and Activity ring data, steps, walking and running distance, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), VO₂ max, weight, blood pressure, sleep and workouts. You choose which categories to allow, and you can change this at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Vantage.

• Your Health data is read and analyzed only on your device, including your Readiness score.

• It is never sent to us or to any server, and it is not stored in iCloud.

• It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising or marketing.

• Vantage only reads from Apple Health. It never writes or changes your Health data.

Information stored on your device

Vantage keeps a small amount of information on your device so it can work:

• Your profile: the date of birth, biological sex and height you enter in Settings, used to show healthy ranges on your charts.

• A summary for widgets: today's figures (such as steps, sleep and your Readiness score), so Vantage's widgets can show them.

This information never leaves your device through Vantage, and it is deleted when you delete the app. Like other app data, it may be included in your device backups, depending on your backup settings.

Purchases

Vantage Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.

No accounts, ads or tracking

Vantage has no sign-in or account. It contains no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Children

Vantage is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Medical disclaimer

Vantage is a general wellness app, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Talk to your doctor about any health concerns.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date above.
